Single-pole miniature circuit breaker rated 15 A at 120/240 V AC with 10 kA interrupting capacity, DIN-rail mountable for GE panelboards
The GE THQC 1115 WL is a single-pole miniature circuit breaker rated at 15 amps for 120/240V AC systems. It mounts on surface or DIN rail and uses a toggle actuator. The unit carries a 10kA interrupting rating and is UL Listed for use in GE panelboards. It suits residential or light commercial branch-circuit protection.
This breaker replaces a worn or tripped standard 15A single-pole device in a compatible GE load centre. The upgrade is worth it when the existing breaker no longer holds its calibration or when a panel refresh demands a fresh UL Listed component with a 10kA AIR rating. It fits the same THQC frame footprint without panel modification.
The lug terminals accept conductors from 14 AWG up to 8 AWG, giving headroom for typical lighting and receptacle circuits. The 100A frame size and 10kA interrupting capacity handle normal fault currents in single-phase panels. It is not suited for DC circuits, multi-pole applications or loads exceeding 15 amps continuous.

The breaker measures 3.3 in long, 1 in wide and 2.4 in deep, matching the THQC frame size used in GE panelboards.
Clip the breaker onto the DIN rail until it locks, then tighten the lug terminals to the torque value shown on the device label — skipping the torque check is the common error.
Replace it if it trips repeatedly without overload, shows discolouration or damage at the lug terminals, or fails to reset cleanly after a fault.
