A 25 A, two-pole miniature breaker rated for 120/240 V AC with a 10 kA interrupting capacity, plug-in mounting and screw-clamp terminals for compatible load centres
This GE THQL2125 is a 25A two-pole miniature circuit breaker rated for 120/240V AC with a 10kA interrupting rating. It uses a plug-in mounting style with screw-clamp terminals and fits Power Mark Gold load centres and AQ lighting panels. The toggle actuator provides standard manual switching for branch circuit protection.
Electricians wiring 25A 120/240V branch circuits in compatible GE load centres will find this breaker matches the required specifications. Installers needing a different amperage, a single-pole design, a higher interrupting rating or a bolt-on mounting style should select an alternative model. The breaker is not rated for DC applications.
The 10kA AIR rating at 120/240V AC is the key specification that determines whether this breaker meets the available fault current at the installation point. Verify the panelboard's series rating and local code requirements before specifying this device. The THQL series frame size is 100A.

Align the plug-in base with the panel bus stabs, press firmly until fully seated, then secure the screw-clamp terminals; the step often missed is torquing the terminal screws to the panel manufacturer's specification.
Periodically inspect for discoloration or overheating at the screw-clamp terminals, exercise the toggle actuator annually, and replace the breaker if it trips near its 10 kAIC interrupting limit or shows mechanical wear.
The thermal trip curve calibrated for 25 A will open the contacts before the 10 kAIC short-circuit rating or the 100 A frame rating becomes a factor.
