A 20 A, two-pole miniature circuit breaker with switched neutral, plug-in mounting and 10 kA interrupting rating for Power Mark Gold load centres
The GE THQL21WY20 is a 20 A moulded-case circuit breaker designed for 120/240 V AC single-phase systems. It uses a switched-neutral, two-pole toggle mechanism and plugs into compatible AQ load centres or Power Mark Gold panels. The unit carries a 10 kA interrupting rating at its rated voltage.
Verify that the load centre accepts THQL-series plug-in breakers and that the bus is rated for at least 100 A frame size. Confirm the panel provides two adjacent spaces for a two-pole device and that the screw-clamp terminals suit your wire gauge. The breaker is not rated for DC applications.
Under continuous operation the breaker will carry its 20 A rating within the 100 A frame thermal limits defined by the THQL design. The 10 kA AIR rating applies to short-circuit interruption at 120/240 V AC, not to prolonged overload endurance. Ambient temperature inside the enclosure will affect trip timing as with any thermal-magnetic device.

The breaker uses a plug-in mounting style for compatible load centers and has screw-clamp terminals for wire connections; separate mounting screws are not required.
Choose the 20 A rating when the branch circuit is designed for a 20 ampere load; other THQL ratings exist for different circuit ampacities.
It indicates the breaker can safely interrupt up to 10 kA of fault current at 120/240 V AC in a Power Mark Gold or AQ panel.
