Industrial pushbutton enclosure

The GE VM933-PBM4 is a polyester enclosure rated NEMA 4X for indoor or outdoor industrial use. It provides four 22 mm holes in a single column for mounting push buttons, selector switches or indicator lights. The gray housing measures 8.74 in high by 2.84 in wide by 3.31 in deep and includes cover corner screws for secure closure.

Four 22 mm mounting holes

The decisive specification is the hole size: every cutout is 22 mm, the standard diameter for many industrial operators. With four holes arranged in one column, the enclosure fits applications that need a compact vertical row of controls without conduit entries.

Polyester body with no conduit entries

The enclosure ships without pre-drilled conduit openings, so the installer drills only the entries required for the specific wiring layout. Polyester construction resists corrosion and meets UL 508A and CSA C22.2 No. 94 standards, while the absence of knockouts preserves the NEMA 4X seal until the builder adds fittings.

Questions about this item

How does the 22 mm hole size determine which operators fit this enclosure?

The 22 mm holes accept standard 22 mm pushbuttons, selector switches and pilot lights without adapters.

What does the NEMA 4X rating mean for the enclosure in a real installation?

NEMA 4X provides protection against corrosion, windblown dust, rain, splashing water and hose-directed water indoors or outdoors.

What mounting provisions does the 8.74 in high polyester body include?

The enclosure has no integral mounting feet; installers must add brackets or drill the flat rear wall to suit the mounting surface.
