Installation And Fit

The pads install directly onto the headphone ear cups without tools or adhesives. High-quality memory foam conforms to the listener's head shape to restore a comfortable seal. Sheepskin covering provides a soft contact surface that resists wear during daily use. Builders should verify their headphone model matches the listed compatibility before ordering.

Long-Term Comfort And Durability

Memory foam retains its shape and support through extended listening sessions without collapsing. Sheepskin material resists cracking and peeling better than standard synthetic leather alternatives. The combination reduces heat buildup and pressure points during prolonged wear. Pads maintain consistent acoustic isolation and comfort over months of regular use.

Questions about this item

How long do the sheepskin and memory-foam pads hold their shape under daily wear?

The manufacturer describes the pads as durable and long-lasting, made from high-quality memory foam and sheepskin that resist flattening during extended listening sessions.

Do the pads trap heat or make the headphones heavier during all-day use?

Natural sheepskin breathes better than synthetic leather, so heat build-up is reduced, and the lightweight foam adds negligible mass to the AKG headband.

Which AKG models are confirmed to fit these replacement pads?

The pads are guaranteed compatible with AKG K701, K702, Q701, Q702, K601, K612 and K712 headphones.
