Wireless HDMI Extender Kit 165FT 4K Input 1080P

The Gefen Wireless HDMI Extender Kit transmits video wirelessly up to 165 feet using 2.4 and 5.8 GHz dual-band operation. It accepts a 4K input signal and delivers a 1080P 60Hz output to the connected display. The kit includes a transmitter and receiver that pair automatically with no software or Wi-Fi configuration required. Plug-and-play operation reduces cable clutter for presentations, home theatre or classroom use.

Check HDMI Output And Power Before Installing

Verify that your source device provides a standard HDMI output capable of carrying a 4K signal. Tablets and phones must specifically support HDMI video output through their port. Each unit requires power; confirm that a suitable USB or mains supply is available at both transmitter and receiver locations. Obstacles such as walls may reduce the effective transmission distance below the maximum 165 feet.

Suits Cable-Free Streaming Up To 1080P Not 4K

This extender suits users who need wireless 1080P 60Hz streaming from a 4K source to a projector, TV or monitor within 165 feet. It is not for buyers who require native 4K 60Hz output on the display side. It is also not for installations needing transmission beyond 165 feet or through heavy structural barriers that degrade the 5.8 GHz signal.

Questions about this item

Does the kit include both the transmitter and the receiver, or must one be purchased separately?

The kit includes both the wireless HDMI transmitter and the receiver, so no additional units are required for a complete link.

The title lists 4K input with 1080P output — which resolution should I expect on my display?

The receiver outputs up to 1080P at 60 Hz; it accepts a 4K source but downscales to 1080P for the connected screen.

What does the 165 ft range mean when the signal passes through walls in a typical office?

The 165 ft (50 m) figure is for line-of-sight using the 5.8 GHz band; walls and obstacles will reduce the usable distance.
