Professional rackmount DJ CD player

The CDMP-1500 is a 1U rackmount CD and media player built for mobile DJs, club installations and venue operators who need reliable playback from physical discs and USB storage. It fits standard 19-inch racks with removable ears for flexible mounting.

Multi-format playback

The front USB port accepts drives up to 64GB for MP3 and WAV files, while the slot-in drive reads audio CDs, CD-Rs and MP3-CDs. A rotary knob provides variable pitch adjustment at 8, 16 and 24 percent, and RAM buffer memory prevents skips caused by vibration. The included remote adds hands-free control of play, pitch bend, loop and cue functions.

Balanced XLR outputs for long cable runs

Two balanced XLR outputs and four RCA outputs deliver interference-free signal to mixers and amplifiers over distance. A combo 1/4-inch XLR mic input and a front-panel 1/4-inch mic input allow direct microphone connection without extra hardware. Buyers needing Bluetooth streaming, DVS timecode or motorised platters will need a different class of deck.

Questions about this item

Does the slot-in CD mechanism or the USB port require periodic cleaning or replacement?

The slot-in CD drive and USB port are solid-state interfaces with no user-serviceable parts; only occasional dust removal from the front panel is needed.

What limits continuous playback time when the unit runs all day?

There is no internal battery or thermal throttle; playback continues as long as mains power is present and the connected USB drive (up to 64 GB) or disc holds content.

How much fan noise and heat does the 1U rackmount chassis produce during extended operation?

The 1U chassis uses passive cooling with no fan, so it adds no audible noise and only mild warmth to the rack.
