Compact active PA for mobile sound

The Gemini Sound AS-2110BT is a self-powered 10-inch loudspeaker with a built-in two-channel mixer and Bluetooth streaming. It suits DJs, presenters and small-venue operators who need an all-in-one system they can carry and set up in minutes. The integrated MP3 player reads USB and SD media, while the FM tuner adds a backup source. True Wireless Stereo pairing lets two units link without cables for wider coverage.

Upgrade from passive cabinets or smaller combos

Replacing a passive speaker plus separate amplifier removes the rack gear and speaker cable runs that slow down load-in. The jump is worth it when you want one box that delivers 1000W peak class-D power, onboard EQ and a clip LED to protect the drivers. If your current rig already includes a mixer, DSP or wireless link, this unit duplicates those functions and adds weight you may not need.

Build-around needs and freedoms

The speaker requires only mains power and an audio source — phone, tablet, laptop or wired mic and line inputs on the mixer channels. An XLR mix output feeds another powered speaker or a recorder, freeing you from a separate distribution box. Top handles and fly points make it simple to pole-mount or hang, while the ABS cabinet resists knocks on tour. Bluetooth range reaches 30+ feet, letting you control playback from the mixing position.

Questions about this item

What mounting points does the AS-2110BT have for pole or truss installation?

The cabinet includes portable fly points for rigging and a standard pole-mount socket on the bottom for speaker stands.

Which input do I use for a microphone, and what common gain-staging mistake should I avoid?

Plug the microphone into the XLR/¼″ combo jack on channel 1 or 2, set its individual gain so the clip LED only flickers at peaks, then raise the master level.

What part is most likely to need replacement after heavy use, and how do I access it?

The 1.2″ voice coil in the 10″ woofer can fatigue over time; the grille unscrews from the front for driver servicing.
