1/200 Scale Diecast Lockheed C-5A Galaxy

This 1/200 scale diecast model replicates the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy transport aircraft wearing West Virginia Air National Guard markings, serial 68-0222. It is built from diecast metal with plastic parts for a heavy, realistic feel. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging with a display stand included. Detailed exterior surfaces match the full-size aircraft outline.

Collectors and Adult Hobbyists Seeking Large

The model suits collectors who want a true-to-scale representation of a heavy strategic airlifter in a specific unit scheme. It is not suited for buyers who need a toy rated for child's play, nor for anyone requiring moving parts such as opening cargo doors or retractable landing gear. The unisex adult age rating confirms it is intended for display rather than handling.

Display-Ready Dimensions and Construction Limits

At approximately 15 inches long with a 13.25 inch wingspan, the model fits standard display shelves while conveying the Galaxy's massive proportions. Diecast metal construction provides durability for long-term shelf display, yet the fixed landing gear and sealed panel lines mean the interior cargo deck cannot be accessed. The included stand supports the airframe securely for static presentation.

Questions about this item

Does the 1/200 scale C-5A Galaxy model need any assembly or extra parts to display it?

The diecast model arrives fully assembled in the original unopened box and includes its own display stand so nothing else is required for display.

Will the 13.25-inch wingspan fit on the same shelf as my older 1/200 diecast airliners?

Yes, the model shares the standard 1/200 scale used by GeminiJets and other brands, so its wingspan aligns with other 1/200 aircraft on a collector shelf.

How can I confirm the West Virginia Air National Guard markings on tail number 68-0222 are accurate after unboxing?

Check the tail for the printed "68-0222" registration and the West Virginia ANG unit markings; the model is an officially licensed Gemini 200 series release reproduced to true-to-scale detail.
