Instant Expansion Hub

This GENERIC 000335blue-N adapter adds two HDMI ports, one VGA port, three USB 3.0 ports, a 100W Power Delivery port and a 3.5mm AUX jack through a single USB-C connection. It is built for professionals who need to connect multiple displays and peripherals while travelling light. The white plastic housing weighs .11 kilograms and measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D, making it easy to slip into a bag for presentations or remote work.

Build And Daily Use

The lightweight plastic chassis keeps the unit portable without adding bulk to a laptop setup. Three USB 3.0 ports provide data transfer up to 5Gbps for fast file backups, while the Power Delivery port passes up to 85W to keep the host machine charged during long sessions. A built-in DAC smart chip drives the 3.5mm audio jack for high-fidelity sound with noise reduction. Triple-display support via MST allows two HDMI outputs and one VGA output to show identical or independent content depending on system settings.

Compatibility Check

Before ordering, verify that your device's USB-C port supports DP Alt Mode for video output; without it the display outputs will not function. Maximum resolutions reach 3840*2160@30Hz or 1920x1080@60Hz, with additional support for 720p and 1600x1200, but the exact combination depends on the connected monitors and host configuration. Note that iPad Pro 2018 models output a 4:3 image and only a few applications fill the screen, while Samsung DeX and Huawei PC mode have their own limitations.
