8-Inch Serrated Utility Scissors

These 8-inch serrated scissors are built for heavy-duty cutting across home, kitchen, garden and workshop tasks. The stainless steel blades handle cardboard, carpet, wire, leather, fabric, rubber plastics and hard packaging. They suit both right- and left-handed users and come with a protective cover for safe storage.

Thermals Noise and Power

As a manual hand tool, these scissors produce no heat, noise or electrical power draw during use. Cutting effort depends only on the material thickness and the user's grip strength. The serrated edge reduces slippage, which helps maintain control without extra force.

Bundled Accessories and Functions

The included protective cover shields the blades when not in use, improving safety in drawers or toolboxes. Integrated wire-cutting and wire-stripping slots add electrical prep capability, while a built-in nutcracker function opens bottle caps and cracks walnuts without extra tools.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the protective cover, and what is the step people miss?

Slide the cover over the closed serrated blades until it clicks; the step often missed is confirming both blade tips are fully seated inside the cover before storing.

What part will need replacement first with regular use?

The serrated stainless steel blades will dull before the polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomer handles wear out; no user-serviceable parts are listed.

What limit appears first during prolonged heavy cutting sessions?

Hand fatigue from the 0.15 kg weight and repetitive force on dense materials such as carpet or leather becomes noticeable before the blades overheat or the cover deforms.
