Purpose and audience

This replacement lavalier microphone connects to Audio-Technica wireless bodypack transmitters. It suits presenters, broadcasters, performers and lecturers who need hands-free operation with minimal visibility.

Critical compatibility

The microphone uses a 4-pin Hirose female connector and requires 2200 ohm impedance matching with plug-in power from the transmitter. It is confirmed for ATW-T1000, ATW-T1001, ATW-T1000 D, ATW-110G, ATW-T310 and ATW-T701 systems only.

Who should look elsewhere

Users with transmitters from other brands cannot rely on this wiring scheme. Buyers needing an omnidirectional pickup pattern or a different connector type should seek an alternative model.

Questions about this item

How does the 60 decibel signal-to-noise ratio affect recordings in a real setup?

A 60 dB SNR means background hiss stays well below typical speech levels, so voices come through clean without audible noise floor in quiet rooms.

What does the 4-pin Hirose connector limit in practice?

The Hirose 4-pin female plug only fits Audio-Technica bodypack transmitters such as the ATW-T1000, ATW-T1001, ATW-T1000 D, ATW-110G, ATW-T310 and ATW-T701; other brands will not connect correctly.

What does the microphone need to clip onto clothing securely?

A wire clothing clip is included in the box, so the mic fastens directly to a lapel, collar or tie without extra accessories.
