Mophead Refill for Commercial Cleaning

The Genuine Joe 20124 is a large blue polyester mophead refill designed for breakroom and janitorial tasks. It fits standard 5-inch headband frames to handle daily mopping duties. The refill is sold individually for straightforward replacement.

Absorption and Drying Performance

The 100 percent polyester yarn absorbs four times its weight and dries quickly between uses. A 30 percent release upon wringing leaves the head damp rather than saturated. No break-in period is needed so the mop works efficiently from the first pass.

Integration with Existing Hardware

This refill attaches to compatible clamp or slide-on frames already in service. The large head covers broad floor areas to reduce the number of passes required. It frees up storage space by eliminating the need for multiple specialised mop types.

Questions about this item

How do I attach this 5" headband refill to my mop handle, and what step do people often miss?

Slide the headband onto the mop frame until it clicks; the step many miss is centering the band so the yarn distributes evenly and the mop lies flat on the floor.

What maintenance will this 100% polyester mophead need over time?

Machine wash in warm water with mild detergent, avoid bleach and fabric softener, then air dry; the fibers do not require a break-in period after washing.

What limit appears first when using this large blue refill continuously?

The 30% release upon wringing means the head retains more moisture than cotton, so the bucket fills faster and you empty it more often during long jobs.
