35-Gallon Aluminum Receptacle

The Genuine Joe 58893 is a weather-resistant waste container built for high-traffic indoor or outdoor areas. Its 35-gallon capacity handles heavy daily use in breakrooms, lobbies or public spaces. The classic cylinder shape and silver finish blend with most decors. Heavy-gauge seamless aluminum construction makes the body fireproof and leakproof.

Two-Piece Liner Removal

The receptacle splits into two pieces so the top section lifts off for quick poly-bag changes. A rigid plastic liner sits inside the aluminum shell and stays leakproof during removal. Open-mouth design means no doors or flaps to jam or clean. No tools or assembly are required beyond placing the liner and bag.

Placement And Bag Compatibility

Verify that the 35-gallon volume fits your available floor space and collection schedule. Confirm that standard poly bags you stock will seat correctly inside the rigid liner dimensions. Ensure the open-mouth top suits your environment, as there is no lid supplied to contain odours or deter pests.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 35 gallon aluminum receptacle is leakproof after assembly?

The seamless aluminum body is factory-welded to be leakproof; after placing the rigid plastic liner inside and securing the top section, pour a small amount of water into the liner — no moisture should appear on the outer shell.

What comes with the 58893 unit and what must I supply?

The receptacle ships as a single two-piece aluminum cylinder with a rigid plastic liner included; you will need to provide standard 35 gallon poly bags for daily use.

Which capacity should I choose for a high-traffic breakroom?

The 35 gallon model is the only capacity offered for the 58893; it is sized for high-traffic areas and fits common 35 gallon liner bags.
