Silk Gold PLA filament on a 1 kg spool with ±0.03 mm diameter accuracy for smooth, shiny prints without polishing
This GIANTARM Silk Gold PLA filament is a 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm polylactic acid designed for FDM 3D printers and 3D printing pens. It targets makers who want a shiny silk-like finish straight from the nozzle without post-processing.
The material prints at a nozzle temperature of 190 to 215 and a bed temperature of 40 to 60. The spool is dried for 24 hours before vacuum sealing with desiccant to minimise moisture-related extrusion issues during typical printing sessions.
Mechanical winding and manual inspection keep the filament tangle-free over long prints while the dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.03 mm supports consistent layer adhesion. Vacuum packaging with a re-sealable bag helps maintain dryness across multiple extended jobs.

Heat the nozzle to 190-215 °C and the bed to 40-60 °C, then feed the filament until it extrudes cleanly; the step often missed is drying the spool for 24 hours and resealing it with desiccant after every use.
Store the 1 kg spool in its vacuum bag with desiccant after each print to prevent moisture absorption; no nozzle wear additives are present, so standard brass nozzles last the spool's life.
The ±0.03 mm diameter tolerance keeps extrusion consistent, so the first limit is usually heat creep in the hot-end if cooling is insufficient, not the filament itself.
