AORUS PRIME 5 gaming desktop

The GIGABYTE AP5A7N8-5002 is a pre-built gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor, 32 GB DDR5 memory and a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 5080 WINDFORCE OC graphics card with 16 GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home on a 2 TB AORUS Gen4 7300 SSD and includes an AORUS 360 AIO liquid cooler powered by an 850W 80+ Gold supply.

Ideal for high-refresh 1440p and 4K gaming

This system suits players who want strong rasterisation and ray-tracing performance at high resolutions without assembling parts. Buyers who need more than 32 GB memory, additional drive bays or a smaller chassis should consider other configurations. The motherboard supports up to 256 GB DDR5 if an upgrade is required later.

Check case clearance and monitor inputs

Verify that your desk space accommodates a mid-tower chassis with a 360 mm radiator and that your display offers HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort 1.4a for full RTX 5080 bandwidth. The rear I/O provides Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.3 and WIFI6 connectivity alongside multiple USB 3.2 and USB 3.0 ports. Ensure your mains circuit can deliver sufficient current for the 850W power supply.

Questions about this item

What existing monitor connections do I need to use the GeForce RTX 5080 WINDFORCE OC 16GB GDDR7 graphics card?

The card provides DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, so a monitor with either input will work without adapters.

Can I keep my existing DDR5 memory kits and add them to the four slots on the B850 GAMING WIFI6 motherboard?

The board supports up to 256 GB of DDR5 across four slots; the system ships with two 16 GB modules, leaving two slots free for expansion.

How can I verify the AORUS 360 AIO cooler is operating correctly after I power on the PC?

Check that the pump and three fans are spinning, then confirm CPU temperatures stay low under load in the BIOS or monitoring software.
