Use the M2P_SB slot if you have a SATA M.2 drive; it accepts both SATA and PCIe x4 or x2 SSDs in 2242, 2260, 2280 or 22110 sizes. The M2Q_SB slot only takes PCIe x4 or x2 drives and is the one enabled for Intel Optane Memory acceleration.
