Micro-ATX board for LGA 1150 CPUs with four DDR3 slots up to 32 GB, one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, four SATA 6Gb/s ports, 7.1-channel audio and gigabit LAN
The GIGABYTE GA-B85M-D3H uses the Intel B85 chipset on a Micro ATX form factor. It accepts LGA 1150 processors including 4th Gen Core i7, i5 and i3 as well as 5th Gen Core models. Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 is supported for automatic frequency scaling.
Four 240-pin slots support DDR3 1600 and 1333 speeds with a maximum capacity of 32 GB. Dual-channel architecture is available when modules are installed in matched pairs for improved memory throughput.
A single PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot runs at full x16 speed for discrete graphics. A second x16-size slot operates at x4 and two traditional PCI slots remain for older expansion cards. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports handle storage while Realtek ALC892 provides 7.1 channel audio and a Realtek GbE controller delivers 1 Gbps LAN.

You can populate all four DDR3 slots with up to 8 GB modules each, giving 32 GB total in dual-channel mode at 1600 or 1333 MT/s.
The second x16-sized slot is electrically x4, so high-bandwidth cards like GPUs will be limited to four lanes while x1 or x4 cards run at full speed.
The board follows the Micro ATX form factor, so it fits any case with Micro ATX or larger mounting holes and standard I/O shield cut-out.
