550 W ATX 12V v2.31 unit with 80 PLUS Bronze efficiency, single +12 V rail, 120 mm hydraulic-bearing fan and full protection suite
Model ATX 80+ Bronze (550W)
The GIGABYTE GP-P550B is a 550 W ATX 12V v2.31 power supply built for standard desktop systems. It carries 80 PLUS Bronze certification with 85% efficiency at typical load. A single +12 V rail delivers stable power to the CPU and graphics card. The unit uses a non-modular design with flat cables to reduce clutter inside the case.
Confirm your case accepts a power supply up to 140 mm in length and has room for the fixed cable bundle. The main motherboard connector is a 20+4 pin plug and two 6+2 pin PCIe connectors are provided for graphics cards. Three SATA power connectors are available for drives. Input voltage covers 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz for worldwide use.
A 120 mm hydraulic bearing fan adjusts speed based on load to balance cooling and noise. The Bronze-rated efficiency reduces waste heat at normal loads. Protections include OVP, OPP, SCP, UVP, OCP and OTP. Hold-up time is at least 16 ms and the power good signal arrives within 100-500 ms.
Measured against everything we stock in ATX Desktop Power Supplies, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Other versions of this model
The unit ships with a fixed 20+4 pin main connector, two 6+2 pin PCIe plugs and three SATA power leads; no modular cables are included so nothing extra can be added.
Pick this 550 W model when your peak system draw stays below the rated maximum; the single +12V rail and 85% typical efficiency suit mid-range gaming or workstation configurations.
At typical load the PSU converts 85% of wall power into usable DC output, so less energy becomes heat and the 120 mm hydraulic fan runs quieter.
