An AM5 board for Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 series with DDR5 support up to 256 GB, four M.2 slots, PCIe 5.0 graphics, USB4, WIFI7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual 5 GbE LAN and a wood-texture finish
Model X870E AERO X DK WOOD
The GIGABYTE X870E AERO X DK WOOD uses the AMD X870E chipset and an AM5 socket to support Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors. It provides four 288-pin DDR5 slots with dual-channel architecture up to 256 GB capacity. The board targets enthusiasts who want a distinctive wood-accented design alongside high-end connectivity.
One PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and two M.2 connectors run at PCIe 5.0 x4 speeds, while two additional M.2 slots operate at PCIe 4.0 x4. Dual USB4 Type-C ports with DisplayPort Alt Mode share bandwidth with the chipset, so simultaneous high-throughput devices may negotiate lower link rates. WIFI7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless performance depends on router capabilities and local spectrum conditions.
PCIe EZ-Latch Plus releases the graphics card with a single click, and M.2 EZ-Latch Click plus Plus secures SSDs and heatsinks without screws. The WIFI EZ-Plug antenna attaches magnetically, while DriverBIOS loads Wi-Fi drivers before the operating system starts. A leather pull tab aids board handling, though the unique wood veneer requires care to avoid scratches during assembly.

The board takes four DDR5 modules in dual-channel mode up to 256 GB total; pick matched kits that suit your workload and budget.
JEDEC 5200 MT/s is the guaranteed baseline speed; faster EXPO or XMP profiles will run at their rated speeds when enabled in BIOS.
The primary x16 slot and two M.2 sockets run at PCIe 5.0 x4, while the remaining two M.2 sockets operate at PCIe 4.0 x4, all fed from the CPU and chipset lanes.
