A 2U barebones server supporting up to four dual-slot Gen5 GPUs and a single AMD EPYC 9005 or 9004 processor with 12-channel DDR5 memory
This 2U barebone server supports a single AMD EPYC 9004 or 9005 series processor with 12-channel DDR5 RDIMM memory across 12 DIMM slots. It is built for organisations deploying dense GPU compute in a compact rack footprint.
The NVIDIA MGX modular design accommodates up to four dual-slot Gen5 GPUs, including NVIDIA H200 NVL PCIe GPUs with 2-way NVLink bridges or RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs. This replaces fixed-configuration GPU servers when workloads demand flexible accelerator topologies and high-speed interconnects.
Dual 10Gb/s LAN ports via Intel X550-AT2 and dual ROM architecture provide stable I/O and firmware redundancy during continuous training or inference runs. The platform maintains throughput across all four GPU slots under prolonged load without the thermal throttling common in smaller 1U designs.

The chassis fits up to four dual-slot PCIe Gen5 GPUs such as the NVIDIA H200 NVL or RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition.
Align the SP5 socket keying, lower the CPU gently, then torque the captive screws in the prescribed cross pattern to avoid uneven pressure.
Replace or add RDIMMs only when a DIMM error is logged or capacity must increase; all 12 channels should be populated for full bandwidth.
