Flex'N Seal Gallon Freezer Bags

Glad Flex'N Seal gallon freezer bags come in a 35-count pack and are made from BPA-free black plastic. The zipper closure stretches to hold thirty percent more without ripping, locking in freshness for food prep and storage. They are microwave safe and suitable for fridge, freezer, pantry or cabinet use. Packaging may vary.

Stretchable Strength and Leak Prevention

The Flex'N Seal design stretches around food of any shape to maintain a tight seal that prevents leaks and tears even when overstuffed. This flexibility mimics a silicone bag while using durable plastic that resists ripping during normal handling. Microwave-safe construction supports reheating without warping. The bags keep contents fresh longer under typical kitchen conditions.

Multipurpose Storage for Home and Travel

Each gallon bag stores prepared meals, marinating meats, chips, vegetables or snacks in the fridge, freezer or pantry. The reusable design also organises toiletries, electronics or travel accessories on the go. Thirty-five bags supply enough units for batch cooking, weekly meal prep or extended trips. Black colour helps identify contents quickly in dark storage spaces.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the Flex'N Seal gallon bag so it won't leak when I overstuff it?

Press the zipper tracks together from one end to the other, running your fingers firmly along the full length; the stretchable material expands up to 30 % more so the seal holds even when the bag is packed tight.

Will these BPA-free black bags become brittle or need replacing after repeated freezer and microwave cycles?

The plastic is formulated for freezer, fridge, pantry and microwave use; inspect the zipper and side seams periodically and replace any bag that shows cracks, cloudiness or a loose seal.

At what point does the stretch limit stop the bag from holding more food without tearing?

The material stretches to hold roughly 30 % extra volume; once you exceed that the film can rip, so stop filling when the bag feels taut and the zipper still closes smoothly.
