GLOBAL One-Piece Clamping Collar

The GLOBAL G1SC-275-B is a transparent one-piece clamping collar supplied as new sports memorabilia. It functions as a bearings and power transmission component for equipment assembly. The collar provides a secure fastening method for shafts and similar hardware.

Buyers needing a GLOBAL branded collar

This item suits collectors or technicians requiring the specific G1SC-275-B model in a transparent finish. It is not intended for applications demanding a different colour, material specification, or multi-piece clamp design. Buyers who want more storage or a different mounting style should look elsewhere.

California Proposition 65 chemical notice

The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for exposure to a chemical known to cause cancer. A second Proposition 65 warning covers chemicals known to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. This regulatory information is the decisive specification for compliance assessment.

Questions about this item

Will the single-piece clamp need any lubrication or periodic tightening as it ages?

The collar is a single-piece design with no moving parts, so no routine lubrication is required; re-torque the screw only if the joint loosens after vibration.

At what torque or load will the clamping force start to slip on a standard shaft?

Slip resistance depends on shaft diameter, surface finish and screw torque — none of which are published for this part — so the practical limit must be tested in your specific assembly.

Does the transparent material heat up or emit any odour when the shaft runs continuously at speed?

The collar body is a static component; it generates no heat of its own and the California Proposition 65 notice covers chemical content, not running-temperature odour.
