Two-Piece Clamping Collar

The Global G2SC-237-SS is a two-piece clamping collar designed for power transmission applications. It belongs to the bearings and V-belts equipment category and ships in new condition. The component features a transparent finish and carries the Global brand.

Installation and shaft clearance

The two-piece construction allows the collar to be fitted onto a shaft without removing adjacent components or disassembling the drive line. This design frees up maintenance time and reduces downtime during adjustments or replacements. The transparent colour aids visual inspection of the contact surface.

Buyers needing different mounting styles

This collar suits technicians who require a split clamping solution for existing shafts. It is not intended for buyers who need a solid one-piece collar, a different bore diameter, or a collar rated for higher torque loads. The Proposition 65 notice indicates the presence of listed chemicals.

Questions about this item

What clamping force limit appears first during continuous operation?

The two-piece stainless collar distributes load evenly, so the first limit is shaft deformation before the clamp itself yields.

How much noise, heat or power draw does the collar generate when installed all day?

It is a passive mechanical fastener with no moving parts, so it produces zero noise, no heat and draws no power.

Which shaft diameter and surface finish must the buyer already have for this collar to work?

The collar fits shafts matching its 237 bore size and requires a clean, round surface free of burrs or keyways.
