What is the G2SC-250-SS Clamping Collar

The G2SC-250-SS is a two-piece clamping collar from Global designed for power transmission assemblies. It secures components onto shafts without marring the surface and is supplied in a transparent finish. The collar is sold new and ships directly from the manufacturer.

When to choose a two-piece collar

This style replaces solid one-piece collars when the shaft cannot be slid through from the end. The split design allows installation or repositioning around an already-mounted shaft, saving disassembly time. The jump is worth it whenever downtime for shaft removal is impractical or when frequent adjustment is required.

Who this suits and who it does not

It suits maintenance teams and machine builders who need quick, repeatable clamping on existing shafts. Buyers who require a solid one-piece collar for maximum holding power in permanent installations should look elsewhere. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals linked to cancer and reproductive harm.
