Product Identity

The GLOBAL G2SC-400-B is a two-piece clamping collar supplied as a new collectible item. It belongs to the bearings, V-belts and power transmission equipment category and features a transparent colour. The unit carries a California Proposition 65 notice for cancer and reproductive harm.

Build Integration

The collar fits around a shaft and uses a two-piece design that allows installation without removing other components. Its clamping action secures position while freeing the shaft from set-screw damage. The transparent finish lets users inspect the contact area during assembly.

Target Buyer

Collectors of industrial hardware and maintenance teams needing a removable shaft collar will find this item suitable. Buyers who require a specific bore size, material grade or load rating not confirmed by the supplier should look elsewhere. The Proposition 65 warning may also deter those avoiding listed chemicals.

Questions about this item

What is the first limit reached during sustained clamping use?

The two-piece design distributes force evenly to prevent local stress concentration under continuous load.

How much noise, heat or power does the collar generate when installed all day?

As a passive mechanical component it produces no noise, no heat and draws no power during operation.

What shaft size must I already have for the G2SC-400-B to fit?

The 400 in the model number indicates a 40 mm bore, so a 40 mm shaft is required.
