Questions about this item

Does the GSC-268-SS set-screw collar require a specific shaft diameter to clamp onto?

The collar is designed to fit the shaft size it is manufactured for; check the shaft diameter against the collar's bore before installation.

Will the transparent finish of this GSC-268-SS collar show wear if mounted next to older metal collars?

The transparent material may display scratches or discolouration differently than metal collars, but it functions the same way when secured with its set screw.

How can I confirm the GSC-268-SS collar is seated correctly after tightening the set screw?

Rotate the shaft by hand; the collar should not slide axially and the set screw should sit flush without protruding.
