Ergonomic Film Cutter Pack

This two-pack of Global Industrial 244292 cutters gives shipping stations an ergonomic tool for opening stretch film, twine, bubble wrap and foam. The blue plastic body resists impact and stands up to daily warehouse use. Each cutter fits comfortably in hand for repetitive slicing tasks.

Capacity and Daily Throughput

Two cutters keep a packing line moving when one is misplaced or shared between shifts. They handle standard stretch-wrap rolls and lighter packing materials without binding. Very thick industrial strapping or reinforced tape may exceed the blade’s design envelope.

Hand-Held Blade Constraints

The fixed blade relies on manual pressure, so cutting speed varies with operator effort and material tension. No powered feed or automatic retract mechanism is present. Users seeking high-volume automated dispensing will need a different class of equipment.

Questions about this item

Will the Global Industrial 244292 cutter work with the stretch film rolls I already use in my warehouse?

The cutter handles multiple wrapping materials including stretch film, twine, bubble wrap and foam, so it works with the rolls you already keep on hand.

How can I confirm the cutter is performing correctly once I start using it?

A clean, single-stroke cut through stretch film or twine without tearing shows the blade is seated and the ergonomic handle is functioning as designed.

Does the 2-pack include replacement blades or do I need to order them separately?

The package contains two blue heavy-duty cutters; no extra blades are included, so plan to purchase replacements when the original edges dull.
