Wire Decking for Pallet Racks

This wire decking panel measures 52W x 42D and supports a 2700 lb. capacity. It is designed for warehouse and industrial storage operations that require durable, open shelving surfaces.

Drop-In Installation Over Beams

The decking fits beams with a 1-1/2 or 1-5/8 step and simply drops into place without fasteners. Its open wire construction permits light, air and sprinkler penetration while minimizing dust accumulation on stored goods.

Welded 6-Gauge Construction

Built from 6-gauge wire with 14 gauge channel supports, the welded assembly maintains its shape under sustained 2700 lb. loads. The gray baked enamel finish resists corrosion during long-term use in demanding environments.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum evenly distributed load this 52W x 42D wire decking can hold?

The decking is rated for a 2700 lb capacity when the load is spread evenly across the 52 x 42 inch surface.

Does the 6-gauge wire and 14-gauge channel construction run hot or draw power during continuous use?

No, this is a passive steel component with no electrical parts, so it generates no heat and consumes no power.

What beam step size must the existing pallet rack have for this decking to sit securely?

The decking fits beams with a 1-1/2 or 1-5/8 inch step; it simply drops into place over those beams.
