Industrial Multi-Joint Desk Lamp

The Globe Electric 56963 is a 31.5 inch accent lamp built with a metal clamp and spring-loaded swing arm for desks up to two inches thick. It suits home offices, dorm rooms or workstations where a movable light source is preferred over a fixed fixture.

E26 Socket with 60 Watt Limit

The shade accepts one medium-base bulb up to 60 watts at 120 volts and works with LED, incandescent or halogen types. No bulb is included so the buyer must supply a compatible E26 lamp before the unit can operate.

Clamp Mount with Rotary Shade Switch

Installation consists of tightening the integrated metal clamp onto a horizontal surface and plugging the cord into a mains outlet. The on-off rotary switch sits on top of the shade for easy reach. A bulb must be purchased separately and the spring arm tension may need a brief settling period after first positioning.

Questions about this item

Is the 31.5" multi-joint desk lamp the only size available in this model?

What does the 7.5 W lamp wattage mean for actual brightness when I use a 60 W equivalent bulb?

The fixture is rated for 7.5 W, so it will safely run LED or incandescent bulbs up to a 60 W equivalent, giving typical desk-level illumination.

The lamp uses an E26 socket on 120 V — does that limit me to North American bulbs only?

The E26 medium base at 120 V accepts standard North American LED, incandescent or halogen bulbs up to 60 W equivalent.
