Modern Glam Track Lighting

The Globe Electric Pratt 59822 is a matte-brass four-light track kit designed for indoor ceiling mounting. It suits homeowners who want adjustable accent lighting with a contemporary metallic finish. The pivoting heads let you direct each beam independently for task or ambient effects. Buyers who need water-resistant fixtures or integrated LEDs should look elsewhere.

Installation And Common Issues

All mounting hardware is supplied for a straightforward ceiling install, including on sloped or vaulted surfaces. The push-button control on the unit provides basic on-off operation without a wall switch. A compatible dimmer switch must be purchased separately for dimming. The most frequent oversight is forgetting to order the four GU10 50 W bulbs, which are not included.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that your ceiling junction box can support the 1.678 kg fixture weight and that the circuit supplies 120 V. Confirm the 4.8-inch length and 30-inch width fit the intended mounting area with the 7.3-inch overall height. Ensure you plan to use GU10 bi-pin bulbs — LED or incandescent types are recommended — and budget for a dimmer if adjustable brightness is desired.

Mount the bar, insert four GU10 bulbs, turn on the push-button switch, then pivot each head to verify all four lights illuminate and aim as expected.

What comes in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The kit includes the matte brass track bar and all mounting hardware; four GU10 bi-pin 50 W bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch are sold separately.

Which bulb type should I choose for the four GU10 sockets on this 120 V track?

Use GU10 bi-pin twist-and-click bulbs up to 50 W each; LED or incandescent models are recommended and the fixture is fully dimmable with a suitable dimmer.
