Inkless Thermal Printer for Mobile Work

The Gloryang PD-A4 is a compact receipt printer that uses thermal technology to produce monochrome output without ink or toner. It connects via Bluetooth to iOS and Android devices through the Jadens Printer app and also supports USB connection to computers. The package includes the printer, a carrying case, three rolls of thermal paper, a charging cable and documentation. It is designed for users who need portable document printing while travelling or working remotely.

35 ppm Speed with 300 dpi Resolution on Letter Paper

The printer delivers a maximum speed of 35 pages per minute at a resolution of 300 dots per inch on 8.5 x 11 inch media. It handles US Letter size thermal paper with a total input capacity of three rolls, one pre-installed and two spares. The single tray feeds simplex pages only, so double-sided printing is not possible. Users who require higher resolution graphics, colour output or larger paper formats will find this device does not meet those needs.

Bluetooth and USB Interfaces with Proprietary

Connectivity relies on Bluetooth for mobile devices and a USB port for computer printing, with no wired network or Wi-Fi option mentioned. The thermal mechanism accepts only Gloryang-branded thermal paper rolls; standard, inkjet or plain paper cannot be used. Buyers who need compatibility with third-party paper supplies or wireless LAN integration should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the Gloryang PD-A4 work with my existing USB-connected laptop?

Yes, the printer includes a USB hardware interface alongside Bluetooth, so you can connect it directly to a laptop with a standard USB cable.

How can I verify the 300 dpi resolution is producing sharp text after setup?

Print a test page from the Jadens Printer app or computer driver; crisp, smudge-free characters at 300 dots per inch confirm the thermal head is operating correctly.

What comes in the box and do I need to buy extra thermal paper rolls?

The kit includes the PD-A4 printer, a carry case, a charging cable, one roll pre-installed plus two extra rolls of Gloryang thermal paper, an instruction manual and a guide card; only Gloryang-branded thermal paper is compatible, so reorder that specific paper when the three rolls run out.
