Glow Edge 17" Silver Beauty Dish for Broncolor Pulso

17″ Silver Beauty Dish for Broncolor Pulso

The Glow Edge 17″ Silver Beauty Dish is a light modifier built for Broncolor Pulso flash heads. It uses a double parabolic reflector system to blend the directed beam of a bare flash with the wrap-around quality of a softbox. The silver interior maximises output and contrast for detailed portraiture and fashion work.

Build and mounting

The dish is constructed to professional studio standards with a durable silver finish that enhances specular highlights. It attaches to the flash head via a brand-specific speedring, which is sold separately, allowing secure mounting on most studio flash and monolight systems. The compact 17″ diameter suits head-and-shoulder shots and tight working spaces where larger modifiers cannot fit.

Practical limits

The fixed 17″ size produces a relatively hard light character compared to larger dishes or softboxes, limiting its effectiveness for full-length or group compositions. The silver surface creates higher contrast and more specular reflections than a white finish, which may require additional diffusion for flattering skin tones. A speedring purchase is essential before the modifier can be used.
