17" White Beauty Dish

The Glow Edge 17" White Beauty Dish is a Bowens-mount light modifier built from durable aluminum. Its white interior reflector produces soft, even illumination with gentle shadows. The 17-inch diameter creates a distinctive wrap-around quality suited to portrait and fashion work. A small opaque cover blocks direct light for cleaner output.

Portrait and fashion photographers

This dish suits photographers who want a single modifier that blends softbox-like wrap with the contrast of direct flash. It works well for head-and-shoulder sessions and tighter studio spaces where larger dishes do not fit. Shooters needing broader group coverage or extreme portability should consider other options.

Bowens mount compatibility

The Bowens mount attaches to compatible strobes and monolights via a speedring, which is sold separately. Verify that your lighting system accepts Bowens-mount accessories before purchase. The aluminum construction withstands frequent studio use. No grid or diffusion sock is included.

Questions about this item

Will the 17" dish work with my existing Bowens-mount strobes and speedrings?

The dish uses a standard Bowens mount, so it fits any strobe or monolight that accepts Bowens speedrings; the speedring itself is sold separately.

How can I check the light quality after mounting the dish?

Fire a test frame and look for the signature wrap-around glow with a crisp, circular catch-light — this confirms the double parabolic reflector is shaping light as designed.

Does the package include a speedring or diffusion sock?

The box contains the 17" aluminium beauty dish with its white interior and the small opaque reflector cover; speedrings and any front diffusion are sold separately.
