Glow Edge 28" White Beauty Dish Profoto Mount

SKU CH-RJN0-RF7EJ

A 28" white beauty dish with Profoto mount produces a distinctive wrap-around light for portrait and fashion photography

  • Distinct diffused light for portraiture and fashion
  • Lightweight aluminium construction at 5 lbs for easy transport
  • Profoto mount ensures secure integration with Profoto systems
  • White interior evenly diffuses light reducing harsh shadows
  • Double parabolic reflector blends direct flash and softbox qualities

Portrait Light Modifier

The Glow Edge 28 inch White Beauty Dish attaches to Profoto mount strobes to produce a signature circular catchlight and wrap-around quality suited to fashion and portrait photographers. Its double parabolic reflector blends direct flash punch with softbox diffusion for controlled contrast.

Sustained Session Behaviour

The aluminium construction dissipates heat from continuous flash firing without warping the reflector surface. The opaque centre disc consistently redirects output into the bowl so colour temperature and spread remain stable across extended shoots.

Mounting And Common Pitfalls

The Profoto bayonet locks in seconds but requires a matching speedring for non-Profoto heads, which is not included. The 28 inch diameter demands adequate ceiling height and stand capacity; low ceilings or light-duty stands often prevent full deployment.

Questions about this item

Does the 28" white beauty dish generate any heat or noise during long studio sessions?

No, it is a passive light modifier with no electronics, so it produces no fan noise or heat of its own.

What mount does my flash head need to attach the Profoto-mount beauty dish directly?

The dish fits Profoto-mount heads natively; other brands require a separately purchased speedring adapter.

Will the 28" dish work with my older Profoto heads that use the same mount?

Yes, the Profoto mount has remained consistent, so legacy heads with that mount connect without an adapter.
