Portable collapsible backdrop for location shoots

The Glow Edge CBA-PA0008 is a 5x6.5' fabric backdrop that collapses to one-third of its open size for transport. A self-supporting pop-up frame removes the need for separate stands or arms, so the backdrop can be leaned into position quickly. Weighing 4 lbs, it is built for photographers who move between studio and on-location work.

Wrinkle-resistant fabric and colour fidelity

High-quality fabric minimises wrinkles, delivering a smooth background straight from the bag. The abstract painting design is printed for accurate colour reproduction, keeping skin tones and product hues consistent across sessions. Durable construction resists tears and wear during repeated set-up and fold-down cycles.

Upgrade from fixed paper or muslin rolls

This backdrop replaces heavy paper rolls or muslin that require stands, clamps and dedicated storage space. The jump is worth it when you need a single backdrop that fits in a small vehicle, sets up in seconds and stays wrinkle-free without steaming. Buyers who need seamless white, chroma-key green or a second simultaneous background should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 5x6.5' collapsible backdrop without a separate stand?

The pop-up frame is self-supporting; remove it from the carry case and let it spring open, then position the abstract-painting fabric side toward the camera.

What cleaning or replacement will the fabric need after repeated shoots?

The high-quality fabric resists wrinkles and tears; spot-clean with a damp cloth if stained, and the material is designed for long-lasting reliability without scheduled replacement.

What size limit appears first when storing or transporting the folded backdrop?

It collapses to one-third of its open 6.5-foot dimension, so the folded disc diameter becomes the practical limit for bag space or vehicle room.
