Portable Backdrop for On-Location Shoots

This collapsible fabric backdrop measures 5x6.5 feet and weighs 4 lbs, making it a lightweight option for photographers who move between studio and location work. The self-supporting pop-up frame leans against a wall or pole, so no separate stand is required. It suits portrait, fashion, beauty and product sessions where quick deployment matters.

Carry Bag and Folded Size

The included carry bag holds the backdrop folded to one-third of its open dimensions, simplifying transport and storage. Wrinkle-resistant fabric reduces the need for post-production cleanup, saving editing time on every shoot. Setup and takedown take seconds, supporting a fast workflow for busy professionals.

Check Wall Space and Lean Angle

Before ordering, verify you have a flat vertical surface at least 5 feet wide and 6.5 feet tall to lean the frame against. Ensure the floor provides enough friction to keep the base from sliding during use. This backdrop does not mount to a stand system, so a suitable wall or pole is essential.

Questions about this item

How do I keep the wooden-wall fabric backdrop looking smooth after repeated folding?

The wrinkle-resistant fabric is designed to stay smooth; simply fold it back into the included carry bag after each use and avoid sharp creases when collapsing the frame.

What stops the collapsible frame from holding its 5 x 6.5 ft shape during a long shoot?

The self-supporting pop-up frame leans securely against a wall or pole, so the backdrop remains stable without a separate stand for the entire session.

Does the lightweight frame and fabric generate any heat or noise when left standing all day?

No — the backdrop has no electrical components, so it produces zero heat and no noise regardless of how long it stays set up.
