Glow Edge Elegant Pro 31x47" Softbox

The Glow Edge Elegant Pro is a 31x47 inch rectangle softbox designed for photographers who need a large, even light source for portraits, fashion or product work. It mounts directly to any strobe or continuous light with a standard 130mm Bowens speed ring. The silver interior lining produces crisp highlights and controlled shadows for natural skin tones. Its elegant pro-white exterior maintains a clean studio appearance.

EZ Lock Quick Setup and Portability

The innovative EZ Lock mechanism allows the frame to snap open like an umbrella, eliminating loose rods and complex assembly. A thick center post locks with a simple push and releases with a smooth pull, preventing sticking or jamming during rapid workflow changes. Reinforced fabric and aluminum support rods maintain rigid shape through repeated packing cycles. The entire unit weighs 2.9 lbs and stores in a compact carrying case for location transport.

Bowens Mount Compatibility Requirement

This softbox requires a lighting fixture equipped with a 130mm Bowens mount speed ring for attachment. It will not fit fixtures using proprietary or smaller diameter mounts without a separate adapter. The rectangular 31x47 inch shape produces a strip-light effect suited for rim lighting and shadow fill rather than broad flood illumination. Buyers needing octagonal catchlights or smaller modifiers should consider alternative shapes.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 31x47" softbox is producing the even light spread it promises?

Fire a test frame at your subject and check for consistent illumination across the strip with no hard edges; the included front diffuser and inner baffle are designed to deliver that professional-grade spread.

What ships inside the box and what must I supply myself?

The package contains the softbox frame with EZ Lock mechanism, silver interior lining, front diffuser, inner baffle, 130mm Bowens-mount speed ring and a compact carrying case; you provide the Bowens-compatible strobe or continuous light.

Which version should I choose for rim lighting versus full-body work?

The single 31x47" rectangle model is built as a strip softbox, making it ideal for rim lighting, shadow fill and adding shape; there are no other sizes or capacities listed for this product.
