Glow Edge EZ Lock 60" Octa Quick Softbox

The Glow Edge EZ Lock 60" Octa Quick Softbox is an eight-sided parabolic softbox designed for photographers who need a large, flattering light source. Its Bowens mount ensures compatibility with a wide range of studio strobes and continuous lights. The umbrella-style mechanism allows the unit to open and collapse in seconds without loose rods. It suits fashion, portrait, and group work where soft, wraparound illumination is essential.

EZ Lock mechanism replaces traditional rod assembly

This softbox replaces conventional softboxes that require manual insertion of flexible rods into a speedring. The self-catching EZ Lock mechanism surrounds a thick centre shaft, letting the user push-lock the frame open and press a generous release to close it. The jump is worth it for shooters who frequently change locations or reconfigure sets and want to eliminate the frustration of aligning speedring holes. Builders who need a permanent fixed installation may not benefit from the collapsible design.

60-inch diameter with silver interior and eggcrate

The 60-inch diameter provides enough spread to illuminate a full-length subject or small group evenly. A reversible opaque deflector cover offers three contrast levels for tailoring light quality. The included eggcrate grid narrows the beam for selective facial emphasis and controlled spill. The silver interior lining maximises output and specularity. Users requiring a larger source for bigger groups or wider scenes will find the diameter limiting.
