Parabolic Softbox for XPLOR 300/400

The Glow EZ Lock Parabolic Softbox measures 25.5 inches in diameter and features a white interior. It mounts directly onto Flashpoint XPLOR 300 and 400 Direct Mount monolights. The self-expanding diffusers spring into shape like a collapsible reflector for quick setup. Two diffusion levels and four internal deflection disks provide control over light quality and intensity.

Portrait and fashion photographers using XPLOR

This modifier suits photographers who need a portable, parabolic softbox that attaches without a separate speed ring. The EZ Lock mechanism secures the softbox directly to the integrated Godox-style mount on compatible XPLOR Pro R2 units. Photographers requiring a modifier for Bowens-mount strobes or other lighting brands should look elsewhere. It is not designed for continuous LED fixtures or fixtures lacking the direct-mount interface.

25.5-inch diameter with dual diffusion

The 25.5-inch parabolic shape delivers wrapping light ideal for headshots and half-length portraits. Two included diffusion panels let you choose between softer or slightly more contrasty output. Four internal deflection disks modify the direct flash burst, adjusting intensity and specularity from sharp to subdued. The softbox reaches its limit when lighting large groups or full-body fashion spreads that demand a significantly broader source.

Questions about this item

Which monolights does the 25.5" EZ Lock Parabolic Softbox mount to directly?

It mounts directly to the Flashpoint XPLOR 300 and 400 Direct Mount systems, including the XPLOR400 Pro R2 with its integrated Godox-style reflector mount.

Will the softbox fit the same mount if I keep an older XPLOR 300 unit alongside a newer 400 model?

Yes, the direct-mount design works with both the XPLOR 300 and 400 Direct Mount systems, so the softbox fits either unit without an adapter.

How can I verify the EZ Lock mechanism has engaged correctly after setup?

The self-expanding diffusers spring into a full parabolic shape and lock onto the Velcro tabs; a taut, wrinkle-free canopy with all four deflection disks seated confirms it is ready.
