Diffusion Fabrics for Profond 27.5" Softbox

These inner and outer diffusion fabrics are made for the Profond Quick-Open 27.5" Deep Parabolic Softbox. They give photographers and videographers additional control over light quality. The set slips on and connects quickly for immediate use.

Three Levels of Light Control

The combination of inner and outer fabrics creates three distinct levels of contrast, sharpness and dimension. The inner diffuser prevents hotspots while keeping the silvered rim pop. Adding the outer diffuser softens the overall wash to a more natural glow.

Folds Flat for Transport

Each fabric folds down to a flat, light scrim that packs easily into a kit bag. They add no rigid bulk to a location setup. The softbox itself is required to mount the fabrics; they do not function as standalone modifiers.

Questions about this item

How does the 27.5-inch softbox size affect light spread when both diffusion fabrics are used?

The 27.5-inch diameter creates a broad, even beam; adding both inner and outer fabrics yields three contrast levels from crisp keylight to a wide, natural glow.

How do the inner and outer diffusion layers attach to the Profond Quick-Open frame?

Each fabric slips over the assembled softbox and connects to the built-in attachment points for a secure, seamless fit.

What folded dimensions should I expect for transport and storage?

Both fabrics fold flat into a lightweight scrim that packs easily alongside the collapsed softbox frame.
