ParaSnap 24x34" Rectangle Softbox

The Glow Edge ParaSnap 24x34" Rectangle SterlingFibre Softbox is a light modifier designed for photographers and videographers who need quick, rectangular soft light. It ships with interior and exterior diffusers, a carry case, a 144mm Bowens speedring, and an OTA-S speedlight mount adapter. The silver SterlingFibre lining delivers even illumination suited to portrait and product work.

Single-swing setup with dual-mount flexibility

The ParaSnap frame opens and locks with one swing-and-snap motion, removing the rod-threading steps of traditional softboxes. The included 144mm Bowens speedring and OTA-S speedlight mount let you attach the modifier to studio strobes, continuous lights, or on-camera flashes without extra adapters. Reinforced fabric and aluminum rods keep the shape stable during frequent assembly and transport.

24x34" coverage for one-to-two subject sessions

The rectangular 24 by 34 inch surface produces a soft wrap that flatters individual portraits, couples, and small product arrangements. Dual diffusers let you tune contrast and eliminate hot spots across a range of skin tones and surfaces. Larger groups or full-length fashion shots will exceed the modifier's spread and require a bigger bank or additional units.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the ParaSnap softbox is assembled correctly after the single swing-and-snap motion?

The frame should lock into a rigid 24x34" rectangle with all aluminum rods fully seated in the aluminum ring and the SterlingFibre silver interior taut and wrinkle-free.

Which accessories are included and what must I supply separately?

Included: ParaSnap softbox, interior and exterior diffusers, carry case, 144mm Bowens speedring, OTA-SB 144mm speedring mount, OTA-S speedlight mount, user manual. You must provide the strobe, speedlight or continuous light that fits the Bowens or OTA-S mount.

Should I choose the Bowens mount or the OTA-S speedlight mount for my light?

Use the 144mm Bowens speedring for studio strobes and continuous lights with a Bowens bayonet; use the OTA-S adapter for shoe-mount speedlights. Both mounts are supplied, so you can switch between light types.
