ParaSnap 24" Octagonal Softbox

The Glow Edge ParaSnap is a 24-inch octagonal softbox designed for round-head flash units. Its proprietary SterlingFibre silver lining increases light efficiency for soft, even illumination suited to portrait, fashion and creative work. The ParaSnap mechanism lets the softbox open and lock into shape with a single motion. Photographers who need a larger light source or a different mounting system will need another modifier.

Capacity and headroom

At 24 inches the softbox provides flattering wrap-around light for individual portraits and small-group shots. The 40-degree grid accessory narrows the beam for more directional control when required. The compact 17.3 by 5.1 inch folded size and 0.93 lb weight keep it practical for location kits. Studios needing broader coverage for full-length or large-group work will find the spread insufficient.

Bundled OTA-C adapter and accessories

The included Glow OTA-C adapter magnetically attaches the softbox to Flashpoint Zoom Li-on X, XPLOR 100 Pro, Godox V1 and Profoto A1 round-head flashes. This adapter also accepts a 40-degree grid, diffuser and colour-correction filter kit for added creative control. Users with flash units outside that compatibility list cannot mount the softbox without a separate adapter.
