28" Octagonal Softbox for Speedlight

The Glow Edge ParaSnap PS-B28K is a 28-inch octagonal softbox designed for photographers who need flattering, even light from a speedlight. Its SterlingFibre silver lining maximises output efficiency for portrait, fashion and creative work in the studio or on location.

Sustained session reliability

High-quality ABS plastic and polyester construction withstands repeated assembly and transport without warping or tearing. The materials dissipate heat from continuous flash use, so light quality stays consistent throughout long shoots rather than degrading after the first few bursts.

Magnetic twist-lock mounting

The included OTA-S adapter locks into the softbox with a simple twist and mates magnetically to the flash head for a secure hold. Compatibility is limited to flashes with a matching circular head profile; units with rectangular or oversized heads will not connect without a separate adapter.

Questions about this item

Does the 28" octagonal softbox generate noticeable heat when used with a speedlight all day?

The softbox uses passive diffusion fabric and ABS plastic, so it does not produce its own heat; only the speedlight emits warmth during extended use.

What adapter is required to mount a speedlight on this ParaSnap softbox?

The kit includes the Glow OTA-S Adapter, which twists into the softbox and magnetically secures a round-head flash for immediate use.

Can I keep using my existing Glow ParaSnap Pistol Grip with this 28" model?

Yes, the OTA-S Adapter connects directly to the ParaSnap Pistol Grip, allowing you to retain your current grip for handheld operation.
