Universal Bounce Diffuser

The Glow Universal Bounce Diffuser GL-UBD softens harsh flash output into a more natural light for photographers using shoe-mounted flash units. Its integrated elastic band grips most standard flashes securely, while an internal silver refractive screen redirects light forward for better efficiency. The soft polymer fabric construction folds down tightly, making it a compact addition to any camera bag.

Check flash compatibility before ordering

Verify that your shoe-mounted flash has a head profile the elastic band can wrap around without blocking the flash sensor or AF-assist beam. Ensure the folded diffuser dimensions will fit in your existing gear bag or pocket. Confirm you do not require a diffuser that locks via a dedicated mounting foot or magnetic system, as this model relies solely on the elastic band.

Suits photographers needing portable flash softening

This diffuser suits photographers who want a lightweight, foldable modifier for on-camera flash without carrying rigid boxes or mini softboxes. It is not for shooters who need a modifier that stays fixed during rapid movement, those requiring a larger diffusion surface for softer shadows, or users whose flash heads are too large or uniquely shaped for the universal elastic band.

The GL-UBD is offered as a single universal model. It has no capacity options or variant codes; one size fits the compatible flashes listed.

How does the internal silver refractive screen change the light from my flash in practice?

The screen reflects flash output forward through the soft polymer fabric, turning a harsh burst into a broader, softer spread with more natural shadows.
