High-Visibility Class 3 Jacket

This Glowear by Ergodyne 8385 hooded jacket meets ANSI Type R Class 3 standards for high-visibility safety apparel. It is built from polyester fabric weighing 62.4 oz and includes an attached hood for added coverage. The bright orange colour and reflective design suit workers in roadway, utility and construction environments. Five outside pockets and dual mic tabs provide practical storage and radio access.

Fit and Closure Checks

Confirm your chest measurement falls between the 46 in minimum and 50 in maximum for the 2XL regular fit. The front zipper closure should operate freely over any mid-layer clothing you plan to wear. Verify that the attached hood style works with your required head protection or hard hat. Ensure the dual mic tabs align with your radio or communication device clips.

Sustained Cold-Weather Wear

The insulated polyester construction maintains warmth during extended shifts in low temperatures. The 62.4 oz fabric weight resists wind and light precipitation while allowing enough mobility for active tasks. Pockets remain accessible when the jacket is fully zipped for prolonged periods. The attached hood stays in place without readjustment during continuous movement.
