Ultra-thin adhesive silicone nose pads

These GMS Optical nose pads measure 1.3 mm thick and 18 mm wide. They are made from clear silicone with a 3M adhesive backing. The pack contains five pairs and is intended for plastic frames. The ultra-thin profile keeps the frame sitting at its original height.

Ideal for slippage on plastic frames

Wearers whose glasses slide down during daily activities will benefit from the contoured shape and strong adhesive. The pads are not suited to frames that require screw-in or push-in nose pads, or to anyone needing a thicker cushion for bridge comfort.

Five pairs provide extended use

Each pair covers both sides of the bridge, so the pack supplies ten individual pads. This quantity handles multiple replacements or spares over time. The adhesive bond weakens with repeated removal, so the pads are designed for single application per pair.

Questions about this item

Do these adhesive nose pads require any tools or existing hardware on my frames to install?

No tools or existing hardware are needed; the 1.3 mm thick silicone pads use a 3M adhesive backing that sticks directly to the nose bridge area of your plastic frames.

Will the 18 mm size fit the same way as the screw-in pads I currently use on my older frames?

These pads are adhesive-mounted rather than screw-in, so they attach to the frame surface instead of threading into existing holes; the 18 mm contour is designed to fit many frame shapes.

How can I confirm the pads are seated correctly after I press them onto the bridge?

After cleaning the frame and pressing each pad firmly in place, the glasses should sit securely without slipping during normal movement, indicating a proper bond.
