Tailored for F800R RGB LED Mat

The Godox Air Softbox is an inflatable light modifier built exclusively for the F800R RGB flexible LED light mat. Its 48 x 48 inch square profile delivers broad, even diffusion that wraps around subjects for professional studio results. Integrated hook-and-loop fasteners secure the softbox to the LED panel without tools. An electronic pump, flexible grid and storage bag are included in the package.

Suited for controlled studio work

Photographers and videographers who need rapid deployment and precise spill control will benefit from the quick-inflate design and included grid. The large square format flatters portraits, interviews and product shots with soft shadows. It is not intended for run-and-gun location shoots where inflation time or bulk are constraints, nor for users who do not own the F800R light mat.

Large 48-inch square diffusion area

The 48 x 48 inch surface creates a generous soft-light source that comfortably covers full-length portraits and small groups at typical working distances. The flexible grid narrows the beam when directional control is required. Output falls off beyond the mat's native intensity, so very large scenes or high-ambient environments may need additional fixtures.

Questions about this item

What must I already own for this 48" x 48" softbox to work?

You need the Godox F800R RGB Flexible LED Light Mat, sold separately, because the softbox attaches to it with integrated hook-and-loop fasteners.

Will the softbox still fit if I keep using my existing F800R light mat?

Yes, the softbox is designed specifically for the F800R and secures directly to it with hook-and-loop fasteners.

How can I confirm the softbox is set up correctly after inflation?

The electronic pump inflates the quick-open frame until it is fully rigid, the hook-and-loop fasteners hold it firmly to the F800R, and the flexible grid can be added to control light spill.
