Godox KNOWLED F800R RGB Flexible LED Light Mat

The Godox KNOWLED F800R is a 4 x 4 foot flexible LED light mat designed for professional photographers and videographers who need versatile, high-output illumination. Its foldable design allows it to adapt to various shooting environments and tight spaces. The unit delivers a robust 900W output with comprehensive RGB colour control. It includes a controller, cables, metal bracket, softbox, and carry case for immediate deployment.

Colour fidelity and output headroom

The fixture achieves a CRI of 96 and TLCI of 97, ensuring faithful colour rendition for critical imaging work. Brightness adjusts precisely from 0 to 100 percent, while the correlated colour temperature spans 1800 to 10000K for matching any ambient source. Fourteen built-in dynamic effects provide creative lighting simulations without external programmers. The 900W maximum output covers large areas, though very high-key sets may require multiple units.

Flexible build and professional connectivity

The mat’s flexible construction permits bending or folding to fit curved surfaces or confined rigs, while a dust and water-resistant build withstands challenging locations. A supplied metal bracket enables secure mounting on stands or overhead grids, and the included softbox offers controlled diffusion. Advanced Art-Net and sACN protocol support via Ethernet integrates the fixture into professional networked lighting infrastructures. The carry case protects the system during transport.

Questions about this item

How does the 900 W F800R work alongside my older 800 W fixtures?

The 900 W output provides higher intensity than 800 W units, and its 1800–10000 K CCT range with full RGB control lets you match or contrast the colour of existing lights for mixed setups.

How can I verify the F800R is performing correctly after setup?

Check that the built-in dimmer moves smoothly from 0 to 100 %, confirm the CRI reads 96 and TLCI 97 on a meter, and run the 14 built-in effects to see each animation trigger without flicker.

What ships with the F800R and what must I buy separately?

The box includes the 4×4' flexible mat, controller, connector cable, power cable, metal mounting bracket, standard softbox and carry case; light stands, rigging hardware and any Art-Net or sACN network gear are not included.
