Godox Pancake Lantern for AM1600R 88K

This lantern-style softbox attaches directly to the Godox AM1600R 88K inflatable LED mat using touch fasteners. It creates an 8 x 8 foot soft, omnidirectional light source suited for film, TV and commercial productions. The white translucent nylon diffusion minimises harsh shadows while preserving consistent colour temperature.

Check compatibility before ordering

The modifier is built exclusively for the AM1600R 88K model and mounts without brackets or speed rings. Verify that your existing light is the AM1600R 88K unit, as other fixtures will not accept the direct attachment system. No additional hardware is required for the specified light.

Thermals noise and power

The softbox itself draws no power and adds no fan noise; it relies entirely on the LED mat for output and thermal management. The nylon construction handles normal studio heat from the AM1600R 88K without degradation. Expect silent operation and no extra electrical load beyond the light fixture.

Questions about this item

Does the Pancake Lantern ship with the Godox AM1600R 88K light or must the light be purchased separately?

How does the 8 x 8' lantern change the output of the AM1600R 88K when mounted overhead?

The white translucent nylon diffuses the mat's emission into soft, omnidirectional light that minimises harsh shadows and maintains consistent colour temperature across a broad area.
